April 17th 2009 Brooklyn Soups

Hey Now! Greetings from day two of Press 195 Park Slope Version 2.0 With the warm weather comes the lighter side of soups. Today we have two offerings:


Chick Pea, Spinach and Potato - a classic Press 195 soup, a vegetarian spicy broth with a unique flavor brought out by tahini. Filled with chunks of potato, fresh spinach and chick peas, this has been a classic for years.


Tortilla Soup - A light tomato broth with a kick. Add in some black beans, chopped onions, fresh cilantro and top with sour cream, shredded Monterey Jack and tortilla soup and you have one great starter!
